I saw this short at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival 2 years ago. It's fantastic. It's also in German but I think it's clear enough what's going on. It won all sorts of awards and deserved every one.

It depicts the development of human civilisation from a most unique perspective. Two rock people, living their lives in geological time, watch (and comment on) the unbelievably rapid development of the strange creatures across the valley. There are some hilarious visual gags and it's definitely worth a look. I hope you enjoy it.

Nine and a half minutes

Heather and Charlie meet for a blind date at the cinema. However, both being 'busy people', they decide to avoid all the wasted time of an actual relationship and skip through months of life in just nine and a half minutes.

Both stars - David Tennant (the utterly gorgeous) and Zoë Telford (the fabulously pouty) - are great. An oddly wonderful little film.
